Craving a festive boost this holiday season? Chicago's iconic Christkindlmarket is the ultimate destination for holiday cheer.

With its authentic German-style Christmas bazaars, Daley Plaza and Aurora transform into winter wonderlands filled with unique gift vendors, delicious food stalls, and plenty of spiced glühwein to keep you warm.

From schnitzel to glass ornaments and mulled wine served in a charming souvenir boot mug, there’s no shortage of seasonal delights waiting for you. Scroll down for everything you need to know about this year's markets and get ready for an unforgettable holiday experience!

Christkindlmarket Chicago opens both in Daley Plaza and Aurora on Friday, November 22, and runs through December 24, welcoming visitors daily with varying hours.

The Daley Plaza market is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 AM to 8 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 9 PM, while the Aurora market operates Thursday from 11 AM to 7 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 9 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 6 PM. Both markets will be open on Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve from 11 AM to 4 PM, with extended hours in Aurora from December 16-18 and December 23.

Admission is free, with prices for food, drinks, and gifts varying by vendor. Christkindlmarket will not return to Wrigleyville this year.
